- Kitchen for longer stays: gas range, oven, dishwasher, microwave and a French-door fridge with freezer. Coffee and tea are provided at the pod coffee machine. - Dining is a 4-seat counter; there's no dining table. - Three bathrooms. Walk-in showers only; no bathtub. - Sleeps 7: three bedrooms, each with a queen bed, plus a rollaway single. - Every bedroom has corner or wide city windows. The primary has a wall TV and a walk-in closet with a safe, iron, luggage racks and plenty of hangers. - The living room is long and narrow, with a sofa, two chairs, a wall TV with soundbar and floor-to-ceiling city windows. Some windows face a nearby expressway, so you may hear traffic, especially at night. - In-unit washer and dryer. - Bed linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner and body soap are provided. - Weekly and monthly stays are priced lower per night. - This home doesn't have a balcony. - Building: front desk in the lobby for key pickup, a 24-hour gym and yoga studio, an outdoor pool and hot tub (seasonal), a rooftop co-working lounge, and the Gallery Café, a quality coffee shop in the lobby. River West, on Milwaukee Avenue. Big Shoulders Coffee is down the block and the Gallery Café is in the lobby. For a big shop, the nearest full grocery stores are a Jewel-Osco about three-quarters of a mile southeast and a Target about a mile northeast on Division Street. Walk Score: 95.
The CTA Blue Line is one block from the building, the 59 bus stops across the street, and a Divvy bike station and scooters are right outside. Driving? Garage parking is $50 per night and limited; request it when you book.
Check-in is at the front desk in the Avenir lobby: show photo ID to pick up your key packet. The elevator needs a key or fob.
Building amenities are open to guests: a 24-hour gym and yoga studio, an outdoor pool and hot tub, cabanas, fire pits and grilling stations on the pool deck, and a rooftop co-working lounge with private offices. The pool deck is seasonal. Building management sets amenity hours, reservation rules and any fees.
Gallery Café, a quality coffee shop, is in the lobby and sets its own hours.
Parking: garage parking is $50 per night and spots are limited. Request it when you book; your spot is held only once we confirm it in writing. On arrival, park briefly near the main entrance, get your parking pass and keys from the front desk, then scan the pass to enter the garage.
